Older Persons Accommodation - Brentwood Court, Llanishen
Brentwood Court is situated in the Llanishen area of Cardiff. The scheme has 35 self contained flats including 5 bedsits, 29 one-bedroom flats and 1 two-bedroom flat.
The communal areas at Brentwood Court are bright and comfortable and include 2 lounges and an extensive library. Outside there are pleasant gardens with a patio and seating area. Residents are welcome to invite friends or relatives to stay in the twin-bedded en-suite guest room.
A Scheme Manager is available during office hours from Monday- Friday to offer advice on day to day issues and to help in an emergency. Each flat also has an alarm linked to the Cardiff Community Alarm Service offering 24hr support and reassurance.
Scheme Criteria
The scheme is designed to cater for the needs of tenants aged 60+.
Tenants should be sufficiently able to live independently in their own flats, although they may arrange their own additional help (for example for cleaning or personal care) if necessary.

Depending on your income you may be able to claim Housing Benefit to help with the rent and some elements of the service charge.

What if the Scheme Manager is not available?
All flats at Brentwood Court have alarms which are linked to the Cardiff Community Alarm Service. This service can be used to summon help in any emergency (24 hours a day). A Mobile Warden will call on the tenant if necessary.
