Minton Court in Tremorfa has recently undergone major refurbishment and offers 30 self contained flats, including 5 two-bedroom flats and 25 one-bedroom flats. The communal lounge is bright and welcoming and the en-suite guest bedroom allows friends or family to stay overnight. Residents can take advantage of the scheme's gardens and outside seating areas and can join in the regular social events if they choose to do so.
A Scheme Manager is available during office hours from Monday - Friday to offer support and advice and to help in an emergency. Each flat is also linked to the Cardiff Community Alarm Service offering 24hr support and reassurance.
The scheme is designed to cater for the needs of residents who are aged 60+.
Tenants should be sufficiently able to live independently in their own flats, although they may arrange their own additional care or support if necessary (for instance to help with cleaning or personal care).

Who to contact if the Scheme Manager is not available
All flats at Minton Court have an alarm which is linked to the Cardiff Community Alarm Service. Tenants can use the alarm at any time (day or night) to summon help in an emergency. A mobile Warden will visit if necessary.
