Nelson House is located in Butetown within easy reach of both Cardiff Bay and the City Centre, and offers 73 one-bedroom flats and 1 two-bedroom flat, including mobility standard and wheelchair properties.

The scheme benefits from a 'virtual' 24-hour concierge service (which offers extra security for residents). Access is available to the Council Alarm Receiving Centre 24hrs a day, 365 days a year and in the future the provision of locality warden patrols will assist in the management of enquiries. There are two lifts with seating and upper floor flats have fantastic views across the city and Cardiff Bay.

To make life easier for residents a number of mobile services visit Nelson House on a regular basis including a hairdresser, a meals delivery service and mobile 'shops' providing foodstuffs, household goods and clothing.

The scheme is designed to cater for the needs of residents who are aged 60+. 

Tenants should be sufficiently able to live independently in their own flats, although they may arrange their own additional support if necessary (for instance to help with personal care or cleaning).
