Age Cymru AdviceAge Cymru's Information and Advice service provides confidential, impartial and expert information and advice to older people, their families, carers and professionals throughout Wales; delivering support through their bilingual national advice line and written resources.
Age Cymru Advice offers support on a range of issues, including but not limited to, welfare benefits and maximising income, pensions, social care, health, housing, disability, scams and discrimination.
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Cardiff Council - Hub ServicesThe Hubs in Butetown, St Mellons and Llanrumney, Ely / Caerau and Rumney offer information and advice about Council services including Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit, tenancy and anti-social behaviour issues, waste management and street lighting.

City Centre Advice HubThe Hub brings together the Council and other agencies under one roof to offer a wide range of help and advice. This includes advice on Council services including housing benefit, council tax, housing, free school meals, free bus passes and school admissions.
The Council and partner agency staff also offer advice on a wide range of issues including changes to welfare benefits, budgeting, debt advice, paying utility bills, welfare benefits and council tax. The Into Work Service provides free help for any Cardiff resident looking for work or to upskill their current job and the Cardiff Get Online project offers free and informal drop-in sessions to help people to learn basic computer skills, and help with things like completing online applications for benefits, applying for jobs, using social media, paying bills etc.
Cardiff Credit Union is based at the City Centre Advice Hub and offers safe savings accounts and affordable loans to anyone living or working in Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan.

Riverside AdviceRiverside Advice provides specialist advice in welfare benefits, debt for people experiencing mental health, carers, those with multiple sclerosis and anyone who receives assistance from a support worker or organisation, and those in fuel debt. We can also see clients by appointment, open door session, home visits for the housebound and carers or hospital visit. Riverside Advice is a member of Advice UK and hold the Specialist Quality Mark Award. All advice is confidential impartial and free.
Riverside Advice also provides legal help for housing cases for the following:
* Possession of home (not mortgage possession)
* Eviction from the home (including unlawful eviction)
* Seeking repairs to rented accommodation where the disrepairs pose a serious risk of harm to health or safety
* Homelessness assistance for persons who are homeless or threatened with homelessness
* Injunctions under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 in the context of housing and ASBO matters in the county court.
